Kids porcelain

I love Michael and he loves porcelain. He came home with this childrens set from the salvation-armys second-hand-store the other day. Isn´t it just adoreable? if anyone has any idea where it´s from and who is the manufacturer, please let me know. It has no stamps.

It reminds me a little of Sandra Jutos illustrations.

My dream - a barn!

Obsessed by thease houses made by Arvesund. Their arcitects have made houses of various sizes inspired by swedish barns. My dream, for long, have been to renovate a barn, but now I´m considering building my own. I would love to get some land in the archipelago and just keep it for the day when I have the money. Theres some forest above my grandparents land... perhaps I should ask who owns it?

Lovely russinnet!

So happy to have a retailer for my little posters here in Stockholm! Proud to collaborate with Matlda at Russinnet. I simply love her stuff and some of it you can see above. She also has a webshop. Click here! To visit her shop in real life, you go to Landsvägen in Sundbyberg, Stockholm.

Also, happy to be part of Prickig Katt in Gothenburg. It´s coming together well. Happy, happy to collaborate with fun and creative people!

Great idea and design!

This idea went straight to my heart. It´my talented classmate Jenny Lundgren from the years at HDK who came up with this smart idéa. Jenny is a industrial designer (is it called that?!) but ska also makes great graphic work. Who needs expensive toys for the kids when one can recycle whats naturally consumed in a household? And despite having a kid I´m very tempted to decorate some bottles myself... I am very fascinated how bottles can be identified just by it´s shape. Do you recognize any? More of Jennys work here.

P.S. Jenny! You should let people send you pictures of the little men they create. I´m sure there will be some fantastic and innovative ideas!

This is my sister and D´s new apartment. Under construction. It will be aboslutley lovely and I´m so happy for them and little Lea to finally have some more space. I do find the whole tearing-down-part very fascinating, as I seem to be more intrested in the journey then the destination in general. i´m kind ofa person who never gets to the point when talking. Anyway.

Isn´t this just lovely? When did these walls last see sunlight? Who was there then? And what year could it be? An old lightswitch whispers the 40´s-50´s. And as a contrar to all the beautiful interior-magazines I find this demolished apartment so freeing. Filled with possibilities, resting in its own history. Waiting... what ever plans you have for me, caress me with love and care. And do it slowly.

(But who wants a renovation to go slow : )

Home again

What a winter-street that greeted me upon my return this evening. Love decided to stay in Gothenburg with Otto, helping my sisters renovation. 10 days away and 500 pics taken. A very nice holiday. I´ll show you more later on. The shop is ofcourse open again. Just click the pink star to the right.

Now I´ll enjoy the silence and try not to mind our freezing apartment.
I think 2010 will be the best year ever. I will try to make it my best year. We´re all responsible for our own happiness. Promise me you´ll try with me.

Lovely stuff over at The drifter and the gypsy.
