He bought 40 new different dishes on fleamarkets in the north. And new cups. And soup-bowls. Our car was like one of a gypsyfamily. And after first day at work he came home with a secondhand-bag shouting "I´m sorry". It contained this last beauty and six cups. I try and be hard and make it not getting too crazy, but, I must admit, I love them too.
Ye-haa! Finally my necklace from Kate Miss arrived. I am so very happy about it, and so is little Otto who loves to play with it whenever I hold him. Kate is very talented, and I got to know abou her through the blog. She lives in Brooklyn, wich I miss a lot, so I feel I have a piece of lovely New York around my neck! Check out more from For me, for you here.
Friday was a good day. I went to my favorite papershop Map, bought two pairs of Italian leather shoes I shouldn´t have but couldn´t resist, and played all day with lovely little Otto. Later on lovely Maria came over for a really nice, and looong meal and way to much Calvados.
Took little Otto and went to Liljevalchs Art museum to see the exhibition about Ikeas history. They really are a unique, and have produced so much cool design I had no idea was IKEA.Specially the stuff fom the 50´s. Loved it, although I have a love-hate-relationship with Ikea today.
We fixed up the playhouse my great grandfater built for my grandmother in the 1920´s. My niece Lea loved playing in it. We even made a real pie to surprise her in the little wood owen.
One warm morning I went up early, took a samll walk by myself and had a dipp in the ocean. met a fishermen who gave me some fresh fish wich I was very tempted to claim I catched myself.
I simply love this place. This is the house where my grandmother was born. It´s remote. She had to walk one hour through the woods to school everyday. The house has a wonderful energy, and it´s right near the water. It´s full of old treasures, like her old shoes I found under the stair. The old match-labels, and great-grandmothers craft-diploma from 1944 that she recieved for her weavery. It´s like a small museum of my ancestors. And a different time.
Couldn´t resist them. Sale on minirodini and Snogg. No later than last week I said "No more suff ", but I seem to forget it everytime I run into something like this. They aren´t even anything for him to grow into so double-sin for me this time. Oh well. I will enjoy seeing him in them.Other sins I have is my craving for cinnamon-rolls. I can have a latte and a cinnamon-roll everyday. What is your?
Going to Göksholm this weekend for a crayfish-party. Hopefully I will see sweet Myrica there, and I got so inspired when I saw her latest news just now. Supermario is the name of her new plates and headboard. Love it!
At grandma´s again, on the island. The sky in August. Every single evening is a different scene. Theres really no point in taking pictures of the sunset, but you know - sometimes it´s just hard not to.
