Old memories

My sister took this picture of me while waiting for friends in my building in New York in 2006. I can really miss that time. It was like 2 years of total inspiration in one fall. I miss it. I have to go back!

And the winner is...

... Julia! Happy to send her the earrings as I am happy to discover her blog about every-day life and indulge her beautiful pictures from her home.

We´re sick here. Little Otto is coughin and having a high fever. I´m coughin, and my eyes seem glued together. M is runing around scared to get our bacterias since he is flying to Sicily on a wine-trip on Thursday. Can´t get that precious nose clogged ; )

But it´s kind of nice. I can´t do more than read books to Otto, make lunch, perhaps build a tower with woodblocks. I´m very here and now and I enjoy it. No big plans. Just wish to do it all without the terrible headace.

Renovating kitchen

I´m very faschinated by renovations somehow, some kind of "before and after-feeling. Or the falling to pieces-mess that miraculously (well, after several work-hours and lots of expenses) turnes out clean and transformed. I share a memory here from our kitchen 1,5 year ago. A change we did as inexpensive as we could. We painted the cuppboards we wanted to save, and threw out everything we didn´t like. Did everything by ourselves with some help from my dad. We let little hidden details see daylight again and built the table to fit in. We liked the stove and let everything start out from it, colorwise. Black, white and brass. Today I´m very happy with our kitchen. But it´s much more messy today...

Inviting you into process

Dear folks! Taking all little freetinme to make patterns at the moment. The the bird-pattern is in progress, and would be so happy for any comments on size, color etc. All input is welcomed!

Lovley home

Found this lovely home over at DosFamily. Isn´t it just lovely? It was a summerhouse that the family eventually decided to move into full time. I can see why.

Crafty valentine...

Realized there was no time to get a card from Eggpress so I ripped the idea, but turned into me and Michael. He got happy. Later on Otto ate it.

Lovely list of inspiring blogs over at Hello Tiger.

A glimpse of work

Showing you a glimpse of what I´m doing for an american company at the moment. A very fun and inspiring project that I just wished I had more time for. This is a late night-project. After coming home from the agency and after putting Otto to bed.

Made by Joel

This is a guy I stumbled upon, Joel, a stay-a-home-dad from Portland, Oregon in the US, whos blog is about little creative projects he makes with his kids. It´s so inspiring, shows the joy of creating and being together. So many kids would love to have a dad like you, Joel! You set such a good example, and I bet you´re having fun at the same time.
