RADIO-CAKE

I brought some home-made Radiocake to work today.
I haven´t made it since I was in Kindergarden and
my Estonian teacher made it. She was awfully mean
and the only nice thing about her was this cake ; ).

You need:

200 gr dark chocolate
150 gr cocoa butter
2 eggs
3 dl powdersugar
I package of neutral wheat crackers.

Melt chocolate and cocoabutter.
Whisk eggs and sugar untill white.
Blend together.
Put crackers into an oventray, fill with
a layer of chocolate, crackers, chocolate...

Put in the freezer for a couple of hours and
cut into small pieces. Delicious!

HURRA for my sister x 2!

Malin just called.
She got accepted to a fashion-
education at the new Art College
in Gothenburg! I am so very, very
happy for her.

When someone is doing something
out of creativity and joy everything
else falls into place.

I have a feeling she is right where
she should be.

LOVE!

Cooking in MINT and dining in PINK!

I´m totally into having a mint-colored kitchen
in our new apartment. Specially after seeing this
beautiful kitchen arranged by stylist Sasa Antic.
Photos by Louise Billgert.

Pink diningroom! That´s project nr 2!
But then the other rooms would have to be white.

Summerhouse

Oh! Another wonderful weekend. This time at the summerhouse
wich included barbeque, helping grandma to set potatoes,
fishing (didn´t catch anything, though), eating way too much,
rowing and a drunk dad who took off on his 1950´s tractor (with michael on it)
into the sunset. Dressed in a Tiger-suit.
I normally don´t care to much about sunset-pictures, but that place
is magic. The light is everywhere and never sets.

Strindberg

Strindberg sure had hs moments.
"To love is to give - Give!"

And I am having a moment walkning up Drottninggatans
nothern part where quotes by him have been placed
in the street. Nice idea. More type on the streets, please!

Hurra for my sister!

My sister Malin just discovered that textle might be her thing, and I am
very impressed by these clothes she made just from taking an eveningclass.
Specially the red borders where you don´t see a a stich. It seems magic to me who can´t even sew a pillowcase! Beautiful pictures taken on the swedish westcoast by either one of the crazy cousins Andy or Mario Prhat. Well done!

Talented JABO!

I have been bumping into my friend Janette lately,
and its always a joy. She is such a talented, productive and
inspiring person. Apart from managing 3 children, she is making
wonderful illustrations, art and books. Check her out at
www.jaboillustration.se. She claims her life mostly consists
of feeding kids and doing the dishes, but it´s nothing that
shows on the amount and quality of her work. Also, check out
her studio www.stockholmillustration.com.

Dick Bruna

Dick Bruna made all the bookcovers for his fathers
publishingcompany. I find them so inspiring and
theres something so direct and communicative
about the whole look.

Danish elephants

Oh, the weekend was so nice. My boyfriend went to Budepest and I had 4 days all alone! I found my silence and my creative spot. I spent the weekend biking, strolling, and working on some new books for Forum and Leopard förlag, but I also took the time to document some of my moste recent work. I am quite happy with this albumcover for the danish indie-band the Elephants.
