...Lisa and I flew to the lovely island Gotland to visit our friend Joel. It was such a good time to walkby the ocean, talk for hours, spend time in the specious apartment they have been so lucky to find, and relaxing. I lived there for several years. I took a nostalgic walk to my old studio, the graphic workshop. How many hours haven´t I spent there, making prints? Recharged and back in Stockholm.
Looking through my archives, and this is a glimpse from our home almost one year ago. It gives me a feeling of spring. It better be here soon, I´m so tired of this never-ending winter.
As soon as I turn my back... Our happy and energetic boy climbes everything, loves to pour out water and calls everything Bajs (poop).
Oh, here you also get a glimpse of our half-made bathroom. We did it a budget-way, we painted the tiles black with floorpaint (actually turns out really nice, I can recommend it) and put decals on the blue board. The bathtub we found at Nacka byggnadsvård, a place that preserves old original building-parts and original decorations.
Josefine from Nu Agency, a Stockholm-based illustrator-agency visisted me at work this week and showed her wonderful creators. I particularly fell for Team Hawaii. Check out NuAgency for great illustrators!
I´m so in love with this new restaurant that just opened up in Stockholm. BAR is a place where you choose your own fish/meat and have it cooked. The commodities are excellent and the french inspired ware-house interior as well.
Next weekend is fancy family-dinner-time. Sick of my black clothes and the winter so I really felt like being bright. And to my happiness (a bit of an indian expression there) I found this lovely dress at Sivletto! The shop, hair-salong, garage, café at Malmgårdsvägen in Stockholm never disappoints me. I am fixing my camera at the moment so I´m borrowing some pictures from their site to let you know what a mecka it is for rock-a-billys and lovers of the 50´s.
Still sick. I always get well after a day or so, but this time it really hit hard. Ottos first day at day-care today. I´m waiting exited for Michael to come back att tall me about their day. A bit bored, and inpatient fo them to come back.
Happy that there are so many fun things to look at on the net. To see more papercut from Guusje, click here.
Here are some lights I found in a shop in Madrid. Just regular shades on different sticks. Good idea isn´t it? Would like it in our entrance at home.
This is low days for the blog. I´m sick at the moment and my camera is broken. I´m trying to give you guys inspiring stuff from my archives, and yummy links. I hope you won´t get bored and leave. I am very happy to have so many new followers. This months you are twice as many visitors and t makes me so happy. Promise to do a better job as soon as I and the camera has recovered.
