My love
Being a mom to this little boy has broadened my perspective on life and love. Our little Otto turned 1 year on tuesday and we celebrated his birthday for three days now. So many wonderful people came to cherish his day, and we are so grateful! This picture is from today, when Otto and I went on a long walk all by ourselves, to Överjärva gård. We had a picnic, looked to cheaps and pigs and visited lovely Manos craftshop. We have such a good time together. No words for this love.

A true artist
Antony & The Johnsons – Epilepsy Is Dancing
Nothing new to anyone I guess, but this is a musician I constantly have been returning to for tha last 10 years. Anthony and the Johnsons. I also have a fabless for the androgynous. It has amazed me for years. In high school I used to dress in a suit and bowtie and wear my books in a briefcase. My first boyfriend had to put up with me putting mascara on him. I still love to do that.

Lovely Shop
Visited lovely Malin (you can see more of her at "Friends in France" in the archive) and her creative and crazy shop Prickig Katt in Gothenburg. I always get such a warm feeling when seeing her and her man Simon. A sort of "everything is possible"-feeling. Otto felt it too.

Last days of summer
Perhaps this is the last days of summer before fall takes over. We went to the summerhouse. Nature is content and silent. Otto had his first boatride. My grandfather turned 85 and we had dinner at a restaurant on the other island. When we all came back I caught him standing on the pier by himself, having a small moment. I wonder what it feels like to be 85 and have great grandchildren around and stand on a piece of land where you built everything yourself. He can be very content, wich I know he is. And we all love to be around.

Sisters show
This is my sisters examproject after only one year at a fashion-education. I am so proud of her, and I´m very impressed both by the design and craft. Now she will continue at a hat-making-program. This will be exiting! More of her work here.

My mania
If his is porcelain, mine is earrings since about two weeks. Otto is ofcourse keeping me occupied but whenever a chance is given, I´m there, putting pieces together. I miss creating things with my hands, and this can really calm my mind. I underatsnd why people knit, draw, carv, cook, sew, whatever. It´s really therapeutic. My opening to graphic design was painting and printmaking but therse days I only type or click the mouse. I like to get my hands working, and prefferably, dirty.
Now we´re off to Gothenburg for a few days. If you are lucky, I will get my hands on some pictures from my sisters latest fashion-show. Look out!

Looking trough my bookshelf and I found this book, "Skyscraper, I love you" by Karl Hyde and John Warwicker Underworld/Tomato
